Nol Binsbergen (2010)

is a hand-bound booklet named after the Dutch bird-photographer Nol Binsbergen (1908-1945) who did groundbreaking work for the Dutch appreciation of ornithology. In the booklet I follow the route of a former dike described by Nol Binsbergen in his book Uit Neerlands Vogelleven (1941). in this book he describes the dike and it’s surroundings as valuable wetlands that are in danger of being demolished. Since then this particular piece of land has known many changes over the last few decades.
